Installation

1. Install the EtherCAT PCB in the HPR400XD plasma cutter.
2. Connect the VDC3 to the EtherCAT PCB.
3. Connect the wire harness to the VDC3 and the HPR400XD plasma cutter.
4. Configure the EtherCAT network.

Operation

1. Power on the HPR400XD plasma cutter.
2. Connect the EtherCAT network cable to the EtherCAT PCB.
3. The EtherCAT network will automatically configure itself.
4. The HPR400XD plasma cutter is now ready to be used with EtherCAT.

Troubleshooting

If the EtherCAT network is not working properly, check the following:

• The EtherCAT cables are properly connected.
• The EtherCAT network is properly configured.
• The EtherCAT devices are properly powered on.
• The EtherCAT devices are compatible with each other.
