Frequently asked questions

Why is monthly pay not annual pay divided by 12 checks?+

Pay frequency and monthly averages differ. Biweekly workers usually receive 26 checks, including two three-paycheck months.

Is take-home pay exact?+

No. It applies one percentage for taxes, benefits, and deductions; it is not a tax return calculation.

How are unpaid weeks treated?+

Weekly, biweekly, and hourly conversions use the paid-weeks value. Salaried annual and monthly amounts remain annualized.
